if understand this correctly, this is new product from a different mfg. previous generic pipe were made my Megan, and were discontinued due to quality issues ( as it was explained to me by Pete )

so there should not be a lot of feedback on this line.

no, try 1/2" plus.. it's 2 thickness of the flange. since there is a nice visible gap.

man, if this would not give me problems, do you really think i would start this ?

Hello,

You are correct in that they are no longer Megan. However, they have not been Megan for almost 2 years now. That information is verifiable by contacting Megan. Therefore, there WOULD be a lot of feedback on this line. As I stated in another thread regarding these y-pipes and products in general -- negativity dominates forums. If there were masses of customers that had fitment issues there would be masses of threads. We wouldn't then sell the product..

I already posted about this a long time ago. Y-Pipe is made by Topspeed and the package it came in was horrible. Rips everywhere, all gaskets and bolts missing and scratched on the pipes were it was sticking out. I called Intense and asked them to send me new gaskets and bolts and they refused. They stated it was UPS fault and I would have to make a claim with them to get $5 worth of stuff. They told me to go to a local exhaust shop and buy them. If I wanted to return this, I would have to pay shipping to them. I would have, but the box was literally falling apart. I decided to put this on just because it was cheap. The fitment was not that good. One side sits lower than the other and I had the jack up the lower side to get it to fit. The only reason the Y-Pipe is still on is because I haven't found a suitable replacement.

so thank you for selling a marked - up e-pipe that is sold elsewhere for $60.

This product is an INSULT to this community. If you have a need of pushing crap parts , do it on e-bay. This way people at least expect to get crap.

Tac-M:
I think darrens point was that you guy are part of the 3% out of all the Y pipes sold... and they are standing 100% behind then if you are part of that 3%, so how did you get screwed...you didnt make any attemps to solve it with darren in the first place before posting this.

IIQuickSilverII is clearly on payroll with IM so all of his posts are very biased.

Since this is page 7 I will remind everyone, that I simply posted a negative review of the product that is probably sold under many different names, and it so happened that IM recommend me this product and I was dumb enough to trust them.

and that was NOT COOL with me.

i know right, well i was told by Pete @ IM that "this pipe is compatible to fujitsubo and makes more gains then JIC" also JIC what sold out.... and you know, it looks very much like a fujitsubo on a pic that is 263x195 and the weld on the collector are in the back of the pic.

so they played me like a sucka....

Hello,

You've just explained that you ordered a y-pipe from us that at the time was made by TopSpeed. You're assuming that they're still TopSpeed. That assumption is incorrect. You've also stated that the box came damaged. The correct protocol is for either us (the shipper) or you (the receiver) to file a damage claim. If at that time you wanted to return the product to us without going through the proper channels first, I.E. -- filing a claim, then yes, you would have to pay for the shipping back to us. This is the first that I've heard about the fitment issue on a TopSpeed y-pipe. Again, the ones we sell now are NOT MADE BY TOPSPEED.

Darren.

Hello,

Wow man you're waaay out of control on this. Mate?

So... now your box was thrashed and that's somehow our fault, or the fault of our product?? The gasket was f-ed up too? Anything else you want to add? It's almost page 8.. not too late to add more..

You ordered a JiC y-pipe and didn't want to wait for the back order. Pete advised you that we have the Intense y-pipes in stock. You're contention is that he talked it up like it was the answer to world peace. He said she said.. Pete would not tell you that it was on the same level of quality, performance, etc, and if you led yourself to believe that you purchased a y-pipe for $145 that was on the same level as a $400 y-pipe then you're not playing with a full deck, mate.

You've showed that the y-pipe you received it less than 1" shorter than the stock one, yes. I've showed that you're the only one that's had fitment issues with THIS manufacturers y-pipe. You show pictures of welds that aren't on the same level as JiC.. yeah..? $145 vs $400... get it? You've also assumed that by the looks of the welds that they will crack. I've shown that it happens in about 3% of the cases, and that we refund/replace at the customer's request 100% of the time.

I offered you a full refund or exchange. You declined. Fine. I've done all that I can do for you. If you want to chose to think that you got "played like a sucka.." so be it. 97% of all customers that order this product have zero problems, and NONE of them have had a fitment issue other than you.

FIRST, I never claimed it out performed the JIC y-Pipe.

My statement was as follows.
#1: JIC-Magic Y-Pipe out of stock {I called you to notify you of this without ever charging the credit card or leaving you guessing on the status of your order- Shameful Customer Service? Hmmm.}

You then asked "what was immediately available and could ship to you same day."
My Answer as Follows:
I have the Intense Y-Pipe in stock ready to ship

You then asked "what the quality and power was like."
My Answer as follows:
I have not had any customers call me with quality or fitment issues as well as it performing very well according to feedback from previous customers and has proven to be a decent power adder for the Z/G platform.

You then asked "if it was a pipe from eBay and if it was cheap Chinese knockoff."
My Answer:
No it is not an eBay pipe nor is it cheap Chinese knockoff.

You then thanked me for saving you the money and we ended the conversation.

No one "played you as a sucka" as you so eloquently put.
I will not sit back and watch this thread get out of control as it has or words be put in my mouth.

This thread needs to be closed at a minimum as nothing helpful or positive is being added at this point and some members are simply unnecessarily adding fuel to a fire.

Our offer still stands on taking care of you and rectifying this situation as you have not taken us up on this offer nor have you contacted us via phone call or email. My personal email is Intensepeter@yahoo.com I eagerly await your contact.

Thank you and Good Day "Mate"
