Andrey,

Thank you for your purchase. I will make a brief statement regarding our y-pipes and then I will address your concerns/posts.

Our y-pipes are private label. They are not Megan, nor are they TopSpeed. We badge them as Intense. We have literally sold 100's of these and NEVER had a FITMENT issue. They are all made the same, so unless there is something going on with your set up/car, etc, they would ALL be 1" short. There has been an occasion or two where a weld has cracked or the flex section has started to leak and we've replaced and/or refunded at the customer's request. We 100% stand by these y-pipes for all defects. That said, I will say it again -- we have never had a fitment issue with these y-pipes. Never.

We have not received a phone call regarding this issue. The tracking shows that you received it yesterday and you posted this thread after we were closed. Your email was time stamped after you created the thread too.. I'm not sure why you felt like you couldn't wait until today to talk to us. We are a "TOP NOTCH" vendor (thanks Jim!) here and would have/ still will stand by this product.

Replies to some of your comments:

I was told that it is very good and has no negative reviews from the customers. So I went for it. Looking at the packaging it looks very similar the Chinese pipe that is sold on e-bay. For $ 60.
Andrey, again, we thank you for your order. Pete was your point of contact and I spoke to him about this today. He contacted you to advise you that the JiC y-pipe was on back order. You did not want to wait for the JiC and Pete advised you that we had the Intense y-pipes available. He advised you that we have not had any fitment complaints with them because we haven't.

Neither the stock, nor any other aftermarket y-pipe attach to any point on the body/frame. The placement of the y-pipe is determined by the fitment/placement of the cats and/or exhaust. Again, we have never had a fitment issue with our y-pipes.

I bought the same intense Y pipe...
I did experience some problems with he flex points but never a fitment issue.
*
I called Darren and told him about the issue.
Without any excuses the offered me a replacement or a chance to purchase a better Y pipe.
*
I went with the Stillen Y pipe.
There were no additional shipping charges.
All I had to pay is the price difference.
*
So far I always had a positive experience with Intense...
I sure would buy from again

I bought my tanabe from intense. Product arrived safe and sound. They are a vendor that I would do business with again.

Darren, in the first post i have clearly stated the this has nothing to do with IM as a company, I only had / have a problem with this product. I don't think it is acceptable for the quality company such as yours to promote and distribute this level of craftsmanship and fitment. Also, i am very upset that i was offered this as sub vs. a more refined product. ( i really did not get this.... why did Pete didn't sell me a Tanabe or similar )
This parts is no better / or may be even worse than a Chinese part of E-Bay. And you backing it up is quite strange, unless the profit margin is 200% (which is possible since e-pipes are retailed @ $60 )

I understand your policy regarding return and exchanges, but transit time plus the time for the install outweigh the cost of an exchange.
Once again, I am upset, because I asked for a very high quality product and got this. Especially when $ was not an issue.

as a respect to you and your company i will delete this soon.

and i do not what and exchange or a refund.

what would be very nice is having a supplier with quality parts and sales staff that understand what a quality part means.

What does a warranty have to do with a refund?

i see hks, topsecret, power enterprise, nismo, jic, tanabe products on their website... and i am sure you saw it too...if you wouldn't have been such a Lil impatient person the whole thing would have been avoided...
u can clearly see they told you the jic was back-ordered and you were desperate to get something. heck you didn't even wait 12 hours(till today) to talk to them and work something out...everybody is telling you you jumped the gun with this thread.

and i told you you were incorrect on the shipping charges assumption...i had posted before laready that thats what they would usually do...and that Sunset DECIDED to upgrade...had he asked for a refund he would have had no problem.
Do you feel the op did not "rushed" with his thread? i mean he didnt wait at all

for that last time , OP did not have a problem with Customer Service dept. of IM , OP had a problem with the Sales dept. telling him that this is a good product. as well as OP had a problem with the product itself.

Listen Bud Slow it down a notch. Yeah I saw the pictures. But you post a thread with out even bothering contacting them. Thats called jumping the gun. If you would have called and they said HELL NO Were not replacing it. Then I agree this was your last resort. Instead you used this as a first resort.

If after reading pages and pages of people telling you the same thing and you still feel the same then there is no convincing you do as you please. But a simple call would have been nice prior to this, thats all I'm saying. No need to get all defense on me. Your making yourself look like an irate customer bro. They said they would refund your money why you tripping?
