Default Extreme noob question

I am very new to to Z. Just two days . Right above the cd player there's a cubby hole. I can open it with just push of a button. But is there any way to close it easily? It seems like i have to pull it pretty hard to close it and sometimes I even have to use a 2nd hand! is that's way it's made? or I am missing something? sorry for the noob question

Mine is the same way, goes up smooth comes down like a train wreck. Bad design in my opinion.

I had trouble opening it at first, there is a trick (works for me anyway). Try and pull outward slowly as u push down at the same time. It may take a while, but you'll get it, lol.

I think he talks about the Nav cover.
Yeah, closing it is a little tricky, lol But like others have said, I pull it toward me slowly and just firmly push in.
But it automatically opens EVERYTIME I go over some bump...

Man, I love this forum! It's soo alive! yeah, thanks for the replies. I thought I was the only one having trouble. Just curious, should this really belong in the intake/exhaust section? shouldn't it be in int/ext section?
