I have Megan headers and IMHO, I don't see why everyone cries about them. It seems a few people might have gotten bad pieces so everyone feels the need to slam them. Funny how stuff like that works and people are still wanting to buy Vortech SC's.

As for the rest of the setup, not sure. Good luck!

I had the Megan y-pipe for about 6 months before I switched to my Injen ti. It looked like a quality piece. No problems with cracking or anything like that and provided pretty good gains. Don't know about the full exhaust since I have never even heard about it, any pics, specs?

If you're going to get a Megan y-pipe & Testpipes, why not compliment it with an eBay x02 catback knockoff? They'll be about the same quality.

Megan sucks! Ive had Megan TP's and they suck *****. I will never, ever own any of the junk they sell. Try getting your stuff warrantied from them...ppfftt! Good luck. Dude, seriously, save some cash and buy a good quality piece. Need a Y Pipe? Ive got a brand new Nismo Y Pipe. Was just installed this past Saturday by WCN. I dont need it because I just picked up an HKS TD. $300 plus shipping and its yours...oooooh NISMO!

It's just the fact that Megan are mostly replica of other parts. It might perform the same, not sure about material and how it's made. I never owned a megan part or will in my life so i won't know. I usually buy parts that actually had road and development.

It doesn't matter, you like doing headers installs anyways so if it cracks, you can just put on another pair.

I had helix test pipes with megan y-pipe and exhaust it sounded pretty good like a deeper pitch through out the rpms. The only thing I did not like is that the tips looked kind of cheap but that can always be fixed.

heh, it seems like there's ALWAYS someone to back up megan products despite the surprising number of failures that have been posted. consider yourself lucky, don't consider everyone else stupid

I would buy a used full cat back exhaust over those pieces any day. If cost is the biggest issue you could find a used injen or borla td for under $500. and pick up some test pipes on her as well for like 100 bucks.

I'm not saying they are the greatest products but I have had no problem with my headers.

But watch me drive home tonight and have them crack.

I will always be a firm believe in you get what you pay for. And I got a deal on mine so who knows.
