Default HKS / X02 mod

Hoping to get my X02 shortly and I was wondering if this doesnt solve my rasp/rattle problem can I add this to the system as another member did ( https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/313956-sound-clip-headers-testpipes-borla-td-w-magnaflow-x-pipe.html )

Can I place it in the circled area? or where the extensions go (G35 coupe)

Would this work or can i expect some problems?

Thanks

No I messed around with them and they do not touch. It only appears at 2-3k rpm, I cant replicate when parked.... only while driving.

I had it on a lift at a muffler shop and clearance was good. I was reving the engine on the lift as the tech was under the car, but it would not rasp/rattle. I also put header wrap around the y-pipe and cats just in case something was moving around under load

yea I am getting the X02. I am really thinking about adding this muffler since I know the X02 is loud Should also cure rasp on its own.

Turbo xs test pipes with XO2 here and no rasp at all. Great sound. Not a bad deal for me since total for the exhaust and testpipes was like 550$ (bought xo2 used)

The idea of this is to replace the existing h-pipe. Thats how I did it on my borla. It seems though that this exhaust does not have the problem I had. Judging by what other members have said.

HKS is too high pitched to me. I like the sound of the X02 exhaust that I've heard in videos.

I put the xpipe on my HKS here. I've also got Kinetix Res Testpipes & DC Headers. I do get a little rasp between 3.5 ~ 4.5... It has less rasp once the engine is fully warmed up and the exhaust gases are at optimal temp.

I think it would work but overall the x02 exhaust really isn't that loud by its self. Not sure if with test pipes though.
