Would it be ironic of me to say "Lets not turn this into a flame thread."?

Here is another example of RI making knock offs.

In this case the person knew exactly what they were getting. So it wasn't a scam against the buyer, but it is an example of what is likely to be a patent violation.

I'm not sure if you remember... but when you first left Boing and Motordyne started booming, I mentioned copywriting, trademarking and patent protection... I figured this kind of stuff would happen eventually...

I will throw in my two cents and grab some popcorn then watch this drama unfold..

RebellRI:
For the longest time was a complete douchebag to me, cause I didnt want to tune his car with a UTEC on it he purchased from someone else. I refused my services, so he flew in JT to tune his car, then put a mocking comment in his signature about me, and was permitted to do so by the admins for the longest time.Even when he became a sponsor, I was shocked that the admins would still allow his signature he had. I nicely asked him to remove it, to whcih he started a bunch of BS with me. I have ZERO repsect for him, and most likely I would be very arrogant to him if we met in person. I honestly do not believe crap to come from him..

Tony@MD: He and I have had some debates in the past, even heated. I came off as a douchebag to him, and he to I..In the end,I set up with him and did some product testing, with the claimed results on my dyno. Since I have sold his product as a very useful mod! He is a man of integrity and for him to make the accusation he has made, he must have ALOT of proof..

Hehehe. Yeah, we sure did exchange a few insults. Its kinda funny now looking back on it.

As for RI, I always had the feeling to be cautious around him. I can't say for sure how I knew, but he always seemed like trouble waiting to happen.

What he did to you is what he is doing here to me. ...He wasn't happy with you not tuning his ride so he gets pissed and publicly tries to damage you.

He got very pissed at me for catching him selling fakes and now he trys to get his revenge with this thread. ...Bad move on his part.

I'm not a vendictive person but I will defend myself, my livelyhood and family to no limit.

And RI wonders why am I pinning his actions on him?

although i should not be involved in this ill say this.

i spoke to tony on the phone last week about the upper/lower plenum, and a 5/16 spacer. tony is a man of his word, and only speaks the truth. hes been very helpful to me and my efforts to improve the performance of my car.

i truely do not believe tony would "accuse" someone of doing something if that person did not do it.

Hi Guys,

I recieved a PM from sombody asking about his MREV2 and how it compared to the picture above. What is shown above is a real MREV2, but it was also polished by RebelinRI.

The polish info was posted previously but I'm reposting it here again to avoid any confusion.

Yet he still presented it as such and is now stating he didn't know what he sold to citymunkey?

RebellinRI, if you mistakenly bought this plenum as an MREV2, who did you buy it from, can you link the post or provide contact info? That would clear things up somewhat.
Have you guys heard anything from Rebel yet? Its been some time.

You asked Rebel some good questions here. And note that he needs to answer for it twice. Rebel needs to show names and links for two completely different people who supposedly sold him bogus MREV2's.

1) He already use the excuse with the G35admin Calvin (Ahero4eternity) on his most recent classified ad when he was first caught. That thread that was deleted. Rebel needs to provide the name, story and link to this unknown person.

2) He used that same excuse here for the bogus MREV2 he sold Citymunky. But note, Citymunky bought the fake before the classified sale of the other bogus MREV2. So now Rebel needs to provide another completely different name, story and link to another person that sold him another bogus MREV2.

These sounds a little too convient an excuse for a machinist who also admittedly made his own MREV2 for his car.

Has Rebel been in contact with any of the staff?

On a different subject:

Who here would be the best person to do a dyno install of the MREV2/spacer on a REVUP engine?

Preferably on a stock or modestly modified car, with a nominal A/F ratio.

You guys pick a person to do the test and I'll send over a free MREV2/spacer kit. All I require is that you post the dyno results.

Thanks for the offer of help Noah. I already sent in the NDA's and pictures. Rebels plenums clearly don't match with mine.

The admin is waiting on Rebel's response.

Thanks again,
Tony

I could do it! I am about an hour and a half from mrc. All I have is a nismo exhaust! The snow hasn't been that bad in PA and NJ, so I can take the Z down to where they are at.

I will do the independant testing of the Mrev/Mrev2 whatever Tony wants I have done several of these in the past, and I am as honest as I can be about it..Regardless of results.
