Default Magnaflow or Injen SES

This weekend I put on my Fujita CAI. My last project on my '08 Z is to pick out an exhaust. My budget has been reduced to miniscule amounts. I have narrowed my choice down to the Magnaflow System ($460) or Injen Super SES ($650). I am not going to do test pipes, headers or anything else. My mods will be limited to the Fujita CAI and an aftermarket exhaust. What I'm looking for is a deeper exhaust note, no loss of power and to avoid the "ricey" sound of all the Civic's. I have already done a system in the hatch and have a fully dynamat'ed trunk. Between these two exhausts which would you recommend? I have only heard Borla in person and liked it, but it is currently out of my price range (< $750). I have searched youtube and heard a couple of drive by's of both exhaust and can't make up my mind. Please chime in.

The designs are completely different. Its like an apples and oranges comparison.

If your budget is tight, take some time and save up more money, you don't have to do all your mods at once. Then, get what you really want. In the long run you will save money because you wont sell your cheaper system for less than you paid for it, to buy the one you wanted in the first place.

Plus, your Z will be exactly the way you want it.

I actually won a free Magnaflow exhaust. I didnt want it because I am going HKS so I sold it to another local Z owner. I really liked the quality and the sound.

^How would you describe the sound? I and others have read/heard that it is similar to Nismo, yet different.

....Thats exactly what I want to know. I have Magnaflow on my truck. My neighbor has it on his Mustang. They both sound awesome. But I'm just not sure how they'd sound on the Z. I've heard a couple of the clips on the net and they sound ok, but how much value can you put in a cell phone recording?

Will the used Borlas that are coming off '03s and '04s direct bolt-on to my '08?

i have the magnaflow on my '03. i love the sound. its very quiet and similar to stock under normal driving conditions maybe a little deeper. but when you get on it it roars. and you cant beat the quality for the price.
