so hows this sound/ affect the sound if it didnt have this?

 

read a few pages back. I have before and after video...there was an annoying ringing sound before. its gone now....it also quietened the exhaust considerably, and cleaned up the sound.

 

All in all sounds good to me too bad they don't make this for me.. ( 08 G35X-S)

alright my exhaust and tips came in today.. awesome.. heres some pics... i also have the two tips up for comparison bc someone was asking about the size difference... and i wil add the pics dont do the top speed titanium tips justice.. they look awesome next to the xo2's... you can kinda see the blue ness from the pic with it on the exhaust

FYI: Ebay tips are a much better deal than ordering direct from Top Speed. I believe Top Speed charge like $60 a tip.

 

So, let me get this straight, you bought the actual titanium tips not the titanium-lookalike tips? Was there any specific reason why you chose to do that? I'm curious because I'm wanting to do the same... except I was considering buying the titanium-lookalike ones.

Ok I'm asking this to actual owners of the cxlighting exhaust, haters and bashers who don't own the exhaust are not welcome. This is to those who have the actual cxlighting exhaust NOT the X02. They are different companies.

My question to the cxlighting exhaust owners is: How has your exhaust been holding up and how long have you had it?

I now there's quite a few people on there that has this exhaust and I'd like the feedback to help me decide between this and the TurboXS.

dont know much about the cxlighting, but the turboXS is sweeeeeet!!! sounds great, not too loud, not too quiet....only issue is that it looks stock...other than that, no regrets, and i've had it on for 7 months now
