Has the same tone quality as the stock exhaust - just a tad louder and more agressive. I'm working on clips - just don't want to drive on the freakin ice around here.

honestly, it only sounded raspy when it was cold, and it was cold in the vid.

After I ran the car for a while, driving home, I let it out and it did not sound raspy...then again, I am inside the car, not outside the car...

either way, the exhaust sounds great.

Not a fan. I think it sounds ricey...like you miss your Civic with the fart can on the back and are trying to duplicate the sound. I'm sorry, but that's not what a Nismo sounds like...at all. Of course.. to each...hers or his own, and while many may find that exotic.. I find that crap. Again... sorry.

Everyone has their own opinion, nothing to be sorry about.
Personally I love it.

I don't think anyone said it sounded like a Nismo? Anyway - do whatcha like. I personally think almost all the exhausts sound like shat for this car. With the stock cats this one (mine at least) sounds very good.

You want to hear crap? My old T-78 rx7 with full exhaust and 18psi... THAT sounded horrible. But no-one could catch it to tell me that.

So today I acquired this exhaust from a friend who used to have a Z and didn't have any use for it any more. He virtually gave it to me, so without even doing research on this system I took it. However from the vids with stock cats, it looks/sounds like today was a very good day I install it and a plenum spacer on my '06 tomorrow, more to come...

I don't have a video camera but I can try to get a hold of one. I have to say though, in conjunction with what most are saying about this system, it sounds beautiful. My setup is just the cat-back with stock cats on a 2006 Grand Touring. The sound is exotic as said before. The tone of this exhaust reminds me of the 2003 VW R32, if that helps. This is a great system for people who want moderate gains, and make the car sound like a true sports car - nothing loud and obnoxious, just a sweet, sweet purr
