Default non-revup plenum on revup motor

I've searched and searched but could not find how detrimental it would be to run a nonrevup plenum on a revup motor without the addition of a spacer. I want to keep my car as stock as possible until the warranty is out. So my question is if I normally just rev to 6500 with a revup would the non-revup plenum give me good gains in the mid range and lower peak numbers but as far as 1/4 acceleration how will that affect me?

Isn't that essentially what a MREV2 is?

Tony does some more to it but that's the basic idea.

And if you run a 5/16 MD spacer with the plenum there's not a big difference in hp gains. Excellent choice.

That's what the first generation MREV was. But without the spacer there is significant HP loss above 6500 RPM.

If you do the MREV2 (without a spacer) it will make more top end gains than the unmodified version. About 11 more HP up top.

You can always add the spacer later for even more top end.

See the dyno plot at the very bottom of our dyno page to see what the spacer will add to a MREV2.
