Default nismo air filter replacement

i have the nismo cold air intake and was thinking about putting in a K&N filter. any suggestions?

I have the K&N. I like it, works pretty good for me.

so i can put the K&N on my nsmo intake? what size would i need?

^ Yes, its the same thing except the one that comes with the CAI has the nismo logo stamped on the end of it. It will make zero difference if you put a K&N on it because you already have a K&N on it.

I would put an AEM dryflow or Amsoil EA air filter on it just because they dont require the stupid oil.

Most regular filters, K&N or even the knock-offs require oil on them. I don't necessarily know if this is a must though. Personally, if you're looking to save a little money and just replace an old filter, buy a knock-off of a K&N.

If you're looking for a quality filter, AEM Dryflow or Amsoil. Good luck.

Anyone with a Nismo CAI have the measurements for an AEM replacement?

Nevermind. I found it: 3.0" Dryflow Air Filter Short Neck 5" Element (Part #: 21-203DK).

I heard that AEM makes the new nismo intakes for the HR motor. Why not buy that size?
