The engine is all stock other than this exhaust. Stock cats are on.

In the first start-up, the mic clips a bit - I guarantee it's not raspy at all.

Listen with good headphones or with a subwoofer - hear the BASS!

Excuse the last start-up clips with the camera mounted on the rear. It turns out that when the exhaust gets really hot, the muffler vibrates against the aluminum main brace behind the bumper and it really clipped the mic input signal. I called Rob @ zcar garage and he's gonne make some adjustments today.

EDIT: Rob's guys adjusted the exhaust today and it is perfect. No contact anywhere - even when hot. Call rob @ zcargarage - he has these in stock. I have not listened to my radio in weeks - I'd rather hear the exhaust . You will NOT be disappointed/EDIT

I am TOTALLY addicted to the sound!!! Friggin Sexy-time!!! oh, and it's not quite as loud as it seems here. Definitely louder than stock, but still very pleasant. No Droning while driving. Just perfect!

Hehe - Bassani on a 350z - Mustang owners are turning in their graves somewhere

Enjoy!

Dynos are here:

Well, good and bad news. Good news is I found the site again... took forever though. http://www.allexhaust.com/product.ph...2&cat=0&page=1

Bad news is the site says the exhaust is "Out of stock - Not Orderable" I'm going to try to contact them now and see if I can get any more information. I also searched eBay and returned no results. However, I'm pretty sure two days ago there were one or two on there... hmmm.. the search begins.

EDIT for being an idiot haha: eBay listing for $995 shipped: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BASSA...spagenameZWD1V

Dude, you probably did more for Bassani then any advertisment of theirs could have hoped for. Bassani owes you some coupons.

That is a horrible price if you sit down and think about it... purely based on the competitor 350Z exhausts...

I looked back at the sellers feedback and they sold the same 2 mufflers and piping for a Mustang for $269.12 shipped!

RIDICULOUS that they would charge $726 MORE for the same materials and service....

Well, I won't argue that point. The only thing I could think of is the fact that they've been making Mustang exhausts for quite some time. The overall cost of the Mustang exhausts by Bassani are relatively cheaper overall. However, the seller is right in the Buy It Now price b/c there aren't any other sites that are selling it for that price point.

Regardless, I think a thousand dollars for an exhaust with a name stamped on it is absurd. If you've ever had custom exhaust work done on any cars by cheap shops, you'll know they charge half the price and the sound and performance can be attained.

I live in Southeast PA and about 45 min from my house is a shop owned by all Amish guys. They have a serious shop with all the latest tools. Mandrel bending and any kind of muffler available. A full exhaust would run you about 400-500. HFCs are hella cheap and they are always concerned about your final satisfaction. The only reason I don't go there for my newest car (the Z) is because I want an aftermarket that I can drop off easily when I sell the car, revert to stock and actually get some money for on the boards. Not to mention, an exhaust through them isn't guaranteed for sound quality when it's set and done. I know how the Bassani sounds now, so I don't mind spending the money to get what I want.

Damn I typed alot... haha

Well I know what exhaust Im buying now. I wonder what an 07 would sound like with some intakes. Just for sound of course.

OP
By far the best exhaust clip ever. Captured the sound from all angles. Job well done sir!

Well I'm going to sell out the seller, I placed an offer for $350.00 shipped, and he responded with a counter offer of $985.00 shipped.

If someone wanted to be a jew, you could offer $980 shipped and probably get it.

I still prefer the higher pitched sound of the Nismo exhaust but the Bassani sounds good too. Much more muscular than the Nismo. Also, that vid is one of the best i've ever seen to sample an exhaust. Awesome job

I sent him a reasonable offer of $800 and he responded with his counter offer of $980.

wait cant you do it this all custom then by purchasing 2x bassani mufflers, taking it to an exhaust shop and have them put in the pipes and your choice of titanium tips and still be under 800?

Hey guys, Craig from AllExhaust.com called me back today and said he has quite a few of the Bassani's in stock. Bottom line, thats the best price I've found, $955.31 shipped. Most likely will be purchasing tonight...

The link if you're interested: http://www.allexhaust.com/product.ph...2&cat=0&page=1

To be honest, I doubt you'll see a GB lower than $955 shipped unless we get 10-20 people to jump on this? Not saying it's not possible though... everyone seems to agree that it is an amazing sound... maybe I'll call this guy from AllExhaust.com back and see if he would be willing to do anything with 5-10 people??

The only thing that I'm questioning is why the exhaust is listed as a 350Z5?? When he called me that is how he referred to the exhaust. I remember reading how Bassani had three different sound levels... however, I've only ever seen the same Bassani 350z True Dual available?? Maybe its actually nothing at all... I dunno..??

Just an FYI, Blue Oval Performance is big into Mustangs (hence the "blue oval"). During my days as a Cobra owner I seem to recall Blue Oval Performance not having the best customer service.

Edit: Sorry, just remembered I was thinking about Blue Oval Industries. Two different companies.
