its not rasp i had the same problem it turned out to be my y pipe

 

Maybe a loose heat shield on the y-pipe.

 

i have the same exact sound, with stock exhaust and test pipes. Any more suggestions?

 

Go with resonated test pipes / high flow cats or go back to stock cats.

No real miracle solution unless you were using a true dual. Then you could get a resonated X pipe to reduce the rasp.

 

I have RESONATED test pipes and have the same exact sound. I don't think it's rasp. The piping isn't touching anything.

If it can be confirmed that it's the stock y-pipe, I'll chnage it but don't want to if the sound will remain.
Sounds like crap when you let off the gas or go WOT. It sounds like an electric spark.

 

im having the same exact sounds after install FI 300 cell HFC on my impul exhaust, perhaps getting motordyne's xyz pipe with resonator will elimnate the rasp? i have the impul V pipe and i think thats where the sound is coming from. and I only hear it when i go WOT or around 3.5k rpm and up....
