I broke my socket wrench trying to get the 2 bolts off the stock heat shield. After messing up a 40 dollar socket wrench, I figured its not worth the effort. I've been running a week without it, no problems. I plan to use the Injen Heat Shield as a water-guard instead for the filter.

Peace

I have read of several people having trouble installing the heatshield. I noticed that it was a little tough getting my arm in to place, but all I used was a socket wrench with a short extention. Other than that, I found the install to be simple.

Maybe half a horsepower or something, if that. Definately not worth the time or energy. I didn't think it was that necessary.
