down with cats
removed my cats and replaced them with downpipe/testpipes.
whatever name you prefer
anyways its amazing
just did it tonight, i need to dyno these are just fabricated ones im gonna order some name brand one from mine's and ill take pics
with it and stuff.
it was a pain in the *** to install took us 8 hours because of other complications.
as for power, so much more, i was so unprepared for the power icnrease i almost lost control from the torque as i was shifting hard into 2nd.
sound, well in neutral it sounds pretty lame and ricey but when its on the move it sounds great, not much louder, im happy.
its stinky too
btw
no check engine light
for those who dont know i have a G35 coupe
my passenger had a 350z and he noticed the power increase
its great.

I will be gutting my stock cats over the next couple of days and re-installing them for a stealth look. Since CELs are not being thrown with test pipes the gutted stock ones should be no problem. All for the price of an 02 sensor socket and a few hours of hand held sledge and chisel work seems like a good mod for the money.

tehy fabricated them specifically for chestons car.
but they took them off and i said, hey can i borrow them
and they let me, im about to buy some from Mine's these were to see if they are worth it.
why it took us 8 hours, a couple breaks, the guy doing most of the work left for a while to get his gf, and we didnt have the proper tools.
when we do it again to replace them and for other cars itll be 2-3 hours no problem.
