Default nismo exhaust

Has anyone purchased the nismo weldina exhaust. If so how does it sound and look and are you happy with it. I'm thinking of going with that exhaust and the nismo headers. Let me know what you all think. Also where is the best place to purchase nismo parts at a good price.

There was a thread a few weeks ago where several of us posted our impressions and photos. I rate the exhaust very high on sound quality, construction quality, and appearance. After I put a little over 100 miles on it, the car seemed to feel more responsive as well.

my biased opinion, never having heard the Borla or Injen...

I'm partial to Nismo ...I'm hoping to go all Nismo (CAI not withstanding)

I love the sound it's not obtrusive but you can definitely hear it on the freeway now. And even more so on take off.

TCL and ne4ni ... we are all rowing the same NISMO boat. I want to keep the mods primarily focused on NISMO (except the ATI Procharger ....if it were available here.... ) --

Jeff ... I would love to talk NISMO with you all day -- wish you worked here !

...enjoy

I just picked up the Nismo exhaust at a great price, paid $800. It was on a whim too, just because I saw it at a meet. Love the looks and sound. Horsepower may not be as much as other exhausts, and it's not dual, but it's nice.

I hope i like it cause thats alot of money to spend on exhaust and then not like it. I almost bought the injen one what do you guys think.

We'll see what others think, and I know I shouldn't say anything since I sell them....... But if your going to add headers in the future and high flow cats, most (not all) exhaust systems will be too loud. I have customers call me at least once a week and tell me that. The number one complaint is the resonance. You wont have this with the Nismo system. I'm not bashing other systems as I feel it's all on Individual style and taste. The point is to mod the hell out of the car and enjoy it!!!

A question for Nismo exhaust users.

Is it an easy DIY install? Or do I need to have it professionally installed? I've installed Stoptech brakes & Cusco sway bars, so I can turn a wench

If you can install the brakes and Cusco bars, then the NISMO installation is a "walk in the park" for ya!

Might be one of the easier things you can do to the car. Plus (at least the Nismo) bolts right up with no jerking around to make it fit. It takes my tech's 45 min's from taking a customers car to delivering back to them. The best part (or maybe worst part for the customer) is the customer is then trapped in my office talking 350Z's while they wait!!
