Default NEW mod. Custom intake + JWT. Photos inside

New JWT Pop charger.

No I did not remove all my mods and do a base + post dyno. Some owners here claim 1hp gain. NissanPerformanceMag claims 6.5hp. http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june03/350pop/

I say who gives a ****.

The piece itself is very hi quality. Instructions were easy enough to install yourself. I have it connected to my custom made intake piping so who knows how much this is giving me. But I love the look of it and it was a cheap mod. I cant hear anything different from before. My y-pipe and exhaust just beats anything else trying to make noise, into submission.

What's so special about the Pop Charger vs. other CAIs?

And won't you be sucking in more hot air with that thing inside the engine bay?

When the car is stopped, the air it sucks in will be hotter that a CAI - but once the car is moving, cool air is rushing into the engine bay - so they both get air about the same temp. Plus the air in the pop-charger has a shorter tube it has to travel trough.

Shorter and straighter airflow! I also have 150 shot going into the intake to help on those muggy humid days.

I alwasy read this theory at maxima.org, don't know if it pertains to this (well both usees VQ35DE)

CAI, long tube intake gains top end
SRI, short ram intake gains low end

just thought i'd share.

Nissan performance mag's dyno says otherwise. I am not arguing with you Mike, just observing. They start to see gains above 4750 rpms. most of the gains are top end there no?
