I just put the SE on my Z monday night. I had the Greddy Ti-C Single exit. I also have resonated test pipes and the Motordyne XYZ w/resonator. The SE is WAY too quiet for my tastes. It sounds stock to me. I thought it would be somewhere between stock and the single exit as for sound output but this thing is too close to stock.

I'm gonna put my single exit back on. Unless the SE magically breaks in and gets louder but it would have to be a significant difference for me to be happy with it.

Well, decided to keep the SE because I really wanted to install the rear diffuser I've had sitting around for like 6 months and I didn't want to cut the crap out of the diffuser to work with my Ti-C single. To make this exhaust a little louder I am going to cut the stock resonator out of the oem mid pipe and have straight pipe added. That should make it a little louder. I can't take this quietness!!

Well, I have TP too, so it is tough to say what is causing the slight rasp I get at WOT. Not bad though. Motordyne didn't really recommend switching out the midpipe, so doubt it is much of a problem

Nice...now slap on some HFCs and a better Y-pipe and you will be in heaven. Yours looks pretty tucked under your bumper....I think mine is sticking out too far and is crooked.

Lol, it's just the angle. Mine sticks out a little but the drivers side sticks out like .5" more

I just got mine on about a week ago, maybe put 300 miles on it. I hope it will break in some... I know it wont but I can hope right... It only sounds a bit louder than stock and that's when you go WOT. It looks hell sick though, its purely and aesthetic mod at this point, but that's what I get for not buying what I originally wanted...

Just purchased - came from a Greddy EVO TT. I am pretty sure this thing will sound like music to my ears (like a deeper stock sound / deeper than the Nismo). The EVO sounded like a damn V8 on steroids. I loved the sound but it seemed a little too loud for me.

Hopefully this thing will be sweeeeet.

So guys. Where would you rate this axle back?

Stock < SE < Nismo or Stock < Nismo < SE

Sound wise.

Thanks. Should be coming in FRIDAY via Assualtech.

Stock < SE < Nismo

It sounds deep at low speed but the faster you go the more quiet it gets IMO.

Deep as in...a civic exhaust? or Deep as in....NICE deep

Do you notice any drone/annoying noise on the highway or on the streets?? I assume not as this is only an Axle Back. Thanks for your input.
