WOW...so IMHO the TP+XYZ+SE is an amazing combo for anyone that wants their VQ to sound a little louder without being super raspy. It sounds amazing with the HFC insert in the XYZ, going to try the resonator later.

I will take another video tonight and try to email them to Juan so he can try to post them. I have a before and after XYZ vid, so that should be a good comp...we shall see.

Sorry....I have been really busy lately and am leaving on vacation right now. May take a while because I dropped the old Y pipe last night.....it slid down the front quarter panel and gouged a nice scratch...so I will be in the paint shop soon. My just bite the bullet and buy nismo sides/rears and get everything done this year!!

 

Tell me this then... there's no rasp whatsoever? No weird sounds? Butt dyno readings?

Sorry about the scratch, man. Everytime I wash my car I get paranoid about finding new scratches. I have a nasty one in my back bumper that I need to buff out.

There is rasp at WOT, but not horrible. It is mainly just heard in the car, not in the exhaust note as much. I haven't reset the ECU, so butt dyno is off I believe. I think it sounds great. When I get back, I will take another video and send them both to you.

I have been so damn busy lately...haven't had a chance to get the resonator on.

 

Finally got mine in! It goes on wednesday.

 

pairing it with anything? even if you don't, you will still love it! I even get compliments from people who aren't into imports or cars at all.

 

Nice! I have had my eye on this too...was just waiting to hear a sound clip sometime.
