I'm about to buy this, but up to this point I was under the impression that it came with a midpipe. Greddy's website had a picture of it with a midpipe which I guess is for a different car, not a z... So my question is... Is my HR midpipe really good enough as is? I'm thinking I would buy TPs to go with this exhaust.
Also... anybody want to chip in for a dyno? lol
I'm going to do a base dyno run, then a w/intake and then a w/intake and exhaust.

I love how your z sounds!!!
I'm gonna get this and test pipes myself. I guess I better start researching the whole non-fouler fix for the test pipes... Hope it's not too much of a PITA to do.

I got mine from assaultech.com they are a vendor here. Their shipped price is way better than ebay and I'm sure they're still in stock. Big props to Z1 Performance for answering all the questions on this thread. I didn't buy from them cause I was already in contact with assaultech and I thought Z1 was already out of them.

How do yall think it would sound if you remove the stock resonator?? Ive got hfc's and motordyne xyz. Ive done research on this greddy spectrum elite and i like it alot. Ive had a tanabe exactly like it but with the midpipe and hfc's and y and it sounded amazing, ive loved it but i sold it to a friend lol. Ive had loud exhaust and its annoying, my z's a daily so i want something with a perfect sound like this one not loud at all but makes a nice tone and looks super sexy lol. This axle back seems perfect for what im looking for, ill keep yall updated when i order it.

SWEET!!! Finally in!! Will be ordering tonight.
I just got my test pipes and XYZ pipe, will let you all know about that combo. I got both the resonator and the HFC for it, so this should be good.

NO!! You keep the TPs. The XYZ connects up to the cats or TPs. It makes more sense to run it as TPs to the XYZ with a resonator to get rid or/reduce rasp, or get the HFC insert for the XYZ pipe. Search more about it and research it....it is pricey!! Just ordered my final bits: the SE, Tokico HP shocks. Will post pics in a few weeks once everything is on.

Oh, trust me, everytime I'm bored I go to their website and stare at the xyz. I've read everything there is to read about it. I even spoke to Tony yesterday about my issue. It sounds like it ought to get rid of my raspttle but I want to be sure before I spend anymore money. It may be too ambitious but I want 0% raspttle. For the money I am spending or would be spending 0.01% is unacceptable. I knoe there should be a little rasp but mine sounds like metal to metal almost.
