We have a whole contingency of guys in Europe that have used Ichaba's (one guy ordered earlier this year, and since then, another 6-7 people have that he referred) and all went in without incident with a bunch of different exhausts

I've had mine for about a year and they sound great with the stock exhaust, bit of power gains too.

any test pipe, resonated or not, is going to be significantly louder than stock cats, assuming that's what you're running

the resonated ones do a fairly decent job of keeping the high end 'rasp' to a minimum, but no matter what exhaust you have, if you team it with test pipes, you can expect more volume and at least some degree of raspiness outside the car. Moreso with true duals that with std configuration style exhausts (NISMO, Fujitsubo, etc)

HFC vs test pipes

HFC eliminate, or keep the rasp at a minimum.

HFC are street legal too.

Can someone with Berk HFC give any opinions on how loud they r compared to resonated test pipes. I really don't mind that sitting in idle, my car isn't that loud. But when I step on the gas, I want my car to roar!!!

When metallic cats are not warmed to operating temps, they act like test pipes. Every time I start my car my exhaust is super loud and raspy, sounds like I have test pipes..

But once I drive for a few minutes, they act more like HFCs. Not raspy, but increased sound..

Sorry I cannot compare to resonated test pipes because I have never heard them or compared them side-by-side to my Nismo..

As for rasp, it depends on what exhaust your test pipes will be mated to..
