Custom welded True Dual Exhaust. Photos!
OH MY GOD. 1st thing i need to say is it is not finshed. Way too loud. I am talking unmuffled territory! So i will go back tomorrow to install resonators.
But same thing as the y-pipe, great craftsmanship. We used 2.5 inch piping from header back. And the only thing restricting airflow were the two hi-flow cats.
Take a look at the photos. Honest to God, it sounds like JGTC car. If i had another daily driver I would leave it, but its too loud for everyday cruising.

Looks good. Did you dyno it?

I am sure the resonators will cut down some power. But I will remove those with turbo.

To 2003z: There is NO cross over. I am thinking about adding an H Pipe to smooth it out. What would you do?
Well, I'm not an exhaust engineer, but I'm pretty sure that all the others use them to equalize pressure (h-pipe, like borla), and to help suck the air out (x-pipe, like stillen). Not sure what else it does, but seems like it would be something to consider adding

Lesson learned. Or should i say heard!

It would be interesting to know dyno results.
In theory there is a chance that it'll slow you down. Hot gases will expand too much in big diameter pipe and cool down and slow down "clogging" the exhaust. Those damn physics can do nasty things to our cars
