Quick update. This exhaust flows really well. I am still waiting on back to back dyno testing of the 3" primaries and the VQ muffler for the TDX, but preliminary data is very good, edged out my old evoTT #s. No problems with 500+ whp (dynojet), even with 2.5" primaries. Really nicely done Tony. I think the future FI market will be yours given the flexibility and power. I will eventually test up to 20 psi with W/M and the 3" primaries for those wondering but data won't be published until after ZdayZ.

What will the TDX gain over the Dual Shockwave for NA applications that justifies the jump in price going to the TDX. More hp/tq? Less rasp and drone?
By comparison for the G35, I see the Dual Shockwave is pictured with a muffler and two resonators. The TDX has only one muffler acting as an x-pipe. I can see the former costing more to contruct simply because of the extra resonators where there would be straight pipes for the TDX.
Regardless, this is a beautiful piece of work!

The TDX sound is a little different though. Deeper, but surprisingly not much louder than the regular dual.
The primary difference is in peak power capacity for high power forced induction systems and the ability to be easily upgraded to a full dual 3" system for the very high HP turbo systems.
Independent dynos/comparisons and sound clips will be posted.

Here is a link to my build thread with a vid of a dyno run performed at ZdayZ. The note of the exhaust has changed slightly following break in. Hopefully the vid below gives you a flavor for it, though my tires were making so much noise on the dyno. A full review with pics and dynos will follow once I have all the components in hand. Anyone even thinking about FI should seriously consider this Motordyne exhaust. I am very impressed. Nicely done Tony.

My goal with going with the Motordyne is to be able to run most of the time with the near silent VQ muffler and still attain close to 600 DJ whp with W/M injection with the Shockwave axle-back for track/racing events only. We'll see how that goes as soon as all the components come in...

Every little bit counts when N/A tuning IMO
Everyone talks about how loud the shockwave exhausts are though, but has anyone actually Decibel measured the volume of their MD zorst?
I would be very interested to know just how loud they really are (regardless of configuration)
