No corners cut. No compromises.
When you need the best system with the most power, quality, real engineering, innovation and extensive R&D combined unparalleled craftsmanship... this is it.

Below are pictures of the Motordyne XYZ with Resonated 3" TDX midpipes.
This system is characterized by a deep aggressive rumble that can only be achieved by a dual 3" system.

The 3" TDX midpipe is fully compatible with any of the Motordyne Harakiri, Gamma or ShockWave))) axleback sections.

The system shown below if for the G35C. The 350Z system is the same but the tubes are 8 inches shorter behind the resonator outlets.

Quality welding and craftsmanship worthy of aerospace applications.

The transition between 2.5" and 3" strikes the optimum balance between high velocity for scavenging and reduced velocity for reduced pressure drop.

The dual 2.5" tubing keeps velocity highest near the engine where it is needed for scavenging. The diffusion to dual 3" tubing reduces velocity where scavenging has become too weak to be effective and the high velocity (and resulting pressure drop) becomes a hindrance.

Note in the picture below how the resonator outlets are dual 2.5". They have a gradual expansion to dual 3" diameter for efficiently converting dynamic pressure to static pressure. Proper diffusion of the high velocity gasses reduces the overall system pressure drop.

This system is very capable for use with NA and even high HP turbo applications.

And if for any reason, the dual 2.5" primaries still aren't enough for your high boost turbos, the 2.5" section is very easily switched out for a completely true dual 3" section.... Making for a 100% dual 3" exhaust system.

The full catback ShockWave))) TDX is $1695

This is a no compromise exhaust system.

This is Motordyne's Engineering.

Almost there. I still need to make the shorter midpipes for the Z.

This one had to be designed long first and then designed backward to a shorter version.

I want to see what the guts of the single in dual out resonator/muffler look like. Why not make an X pipe with a V-band around the middle instead of this muffler thing?

Nothing beats it in quality and engineering as you can tell by the pictures.

Excellent work Tony!

Nice tony. I'm loving my dual shockwave. Maybe you should send me one to test out... Every person that hears my car loves the deep growl and tone.

Yes. I'll be doing exactly that. An unresonated X will be an option too.

For me, I like the sound of the resonated version though.

What's the pricing gonna be like for a Harakiri TDX (I assume this is a full catback) for an 08 350Z? I assume with the TDX you will not have the option of the XYZ Catalytic Converter.

I don't have the Harakiri TDX priced out yet but I will get it worked into the website so you can select any one of the axleback sections for the TDX.

Once everything is posted on the website, it will be a veritable exhaust boutique where you can build your exhaust system just about any way you want it.

And yes, that is correct. The the XYZ catalytic converter won't fit the TDX.

I can vouge for the quality of the dual shockwave. Once I heard TheOtherRob (Rob's) in person, I had to get ride of my borla. There is no exhaust out there that sounds like it. I am the first to have the dual shockwave exhaust with resonated testpipes to make a video. The video of the before and after will be up within a day. So keep your eyes open for the videos. Tony gives you top notch product with top of the line customer service.

Oh When I see you for the next meet. I want to compare mine and yours. Since I have resonated testpipes and you have stock cats. Yea it is deffinately loud and there is no rasp at all.
