Only bad i've heard is the price. It does no better than a pop charger, just more expensive.

had a JWT pop charger...loved it but was concerned with heat soak. I purchased Mishimoto and love it even more, filter is reusable, just clean like a K&N filter, easy install, pricey at $250 though, heat soak IMO is better, also I'm a carbon fiber *****.. sounds as good as poop charger...late

Don't know much about their intakes, but i'm really happy with their koyo knockoff radiator i got off ebay for $200!! So based on my experience with them so far, it's prob a decent product!! I do hate the ricey sounding name though. LOL

Hmmm well guys thanks for the input i'll get it next paycheck then.lol

and i would get a pop charger but the problem is that whoever had the car before me put a pos intake on it so i can't get the popcharger cause i don't have the stock tubing.

So i guess its the mishimoto for me.lol

If that is the case, then you can get a pop charger and all the stock pieces off here for less then the cost of this intake.

Post a pic of your engine bay and we can tell you what or if you are missing anything.

Heat shield is what you rearry need. I don't know, nor can see the design of the MAF adapted, but i know for a fact your drawing really hot air. Over 100 degree difference from what you would get with the pop charger heat shield.

Yeah i know for sure its taking in a lot of hot air.....

and i know because i felt the metal on the cone after a long drive and i was hot a f***!!

Besides hp loss what else can happen if i don't have the heat shield?? (cause now i'm scared...lol)
