Personally I love the Fujita SRI! I used to have the the poop charger and it was ok. Here's a link to my clip on you tube:

Hmm the fujita intake turns me away because there is no heatshield. even though it is closer to the stock airbox location im sure it still gets heatsoaked. I built a custom box around my popcharger and it seems to be running cooler in traffic than a popcharger with the dinky heatshield that comes with it. I datalogged my air intake temperatures with Cipher and im waiting for Jared @ Uprev to get back to me with results compared to a stock airbox and other intakes. ill post a new thread about that later when I get results.

On my 07 I used a light weight 3" flex piping for air flow to the fujita. Ran it behind bumper cover to the opening that was used by the stock airbox.

with those ridiculous bends I doubt any of the air is actually getting to the filter until you get up to 70-80 mph

+1

OEM box is still equal if not better for both heat soak and flow.

Unless you want noise, and bling then go for it!! We've all done it, and many have gone back to OEM, don't sweat the small mods!
