It's not a big deal all preference .. as long as you aren't going huge diameter for your na setup or to small for your turbo setup

I'd say go dual cuz it looks better. Single if you actually need the performance.

i say stick with the dual tips, true dual or not, especially with stock bumper... looks kinda re-tard imho. i wouldn't go single unless i was going FI and needed max flow, nothing wrong with function over form

how much are planning to spend on the Megan?.. been out of the scene for a while , when Megan was fairly new they were considered on par with cheap ebay crap. have they gotten better or found better supply to rebrand?

ETA: this is not a flame at Megan

Yeah I remember a few years back when megan had fitment issues with damn near everything they sold. But a few months back after reading some reviews i bought some megan test pipes for my z32TT and fitment was as good or even better than the stock cats. They have definitely came a long way.

If you are staying NA with just basic bolt-ons, it really doesn't matter. Just whatever looks better to you.

A single in most cases will be much lighter than a dual, but will often be noticeably louder.

It's all about your preference OP although I have have never heard anyone with the Megan in person so I can't vouch for the quality.

Greddy makes a great single exhaust as well, I think it's 3in. I love the sound and the look of it personally. A bit of drone on the highway though

Thank you all for your feedback, it really helps a lot, I do think it looks funny with the single exhaust on the stock bumper, but I have seen the megan on 1 Z in person and I liked it. I don't want to spend too much money so that is part of the reason why I'm going with the megan because I like it and it's not crazy $$. I've seen the Greddy single also and that one was really nice too but its a lot more money from what I gather. If I do decide on the single, which I think I am, I do plan on changing up the back to somthing like this http://m457.photobucket.com/image/35...g.html?src=www

that way it won't look crazy

Single if you care about performance and weight, but they are loud.

Yeah if you go with a single you definitely need to tuck the bumper. Looks kind of weird with 2 cut outs and one tip. I have mine tucked but I'm running an HKS. Hks looks great, but its not that loud. Singles are light, loud, and IMO kind of ugly, but different at least. If I could trade mine for another I'd either go with the evo2 or Injen I think.

Oh and I see your from Selden? I'm from Sayville

V6 engines don't move enough air to justify a true dual. Half the weight on top of the same performance= win. Plus Greddy can be silenced, and is no louder than stock. Mine with the silencer even with test pipes and headers is boringly quiet.

Without it though, it friggin roars!

Default Single exhaust vs true dual exhaust?

I cant decide what i want to do with my z. i really want to make it a true dual exhaust but as much as i would like to do that i want to make it a single exhaust. Someone break my decision barrier. And if you have a single exhaust how do you like it? would you go back to dual?

How about no exhaust? Just run open off the manifolds, sounds great.
