Default Exhaust setup bothering me

My setup is Greddy Evo2 exhaust, Megan test pipes, DC headers, Spacer, K&N Drop-in. I recently modified the greddy to make it a true true dual, namely I had the bottleneck cut off and replaced it with two straight pipes.

The problem is, although the sound is deeper, there is a lot of rasp after 3k. Before I had headers, the test pipes and greddy sounded great, now it sounds kinda ricey and is really bothering me. I had hoped that modifying the exhaust to two straight pipes would fix most of the sound, but it didn't.

I'm not sure what to do to fix this as HFC could decrease the sound but is pricey, header removal is also too pricey, and exhaust switching is too. So my only other option is to remove the test pipes and put the stock cats back on.
Opinions? Thanks.

i dont know how the greddy is setup but when you say true duel did you get rid of the X pipe and make it a pure dual exhaust? Why would you do that? Thats why it sounds terrible.

The thing is, it was already sounding bad before I changed to pure dual. Had the same rasp above 3k. Now it's just a deeper rasp.

If you're having problems before you even touched the xpipe then your rasp is originating from the test pipes bro...

So you have headers, test pipes, and a hacked up pure dual exhaust and you wonder why you have rasp?

Are you kidding?

Now for the common sense part: Add a resonator and it will help a little. Are the Megan test pipes resonated? If not, throw them in the garbage and get resonated TPs or get HFCs.
