Pull the weight out of your hatch to offset, if you are that worried about it.
Dont get me wrong i love the sound of Stillen exhaust on our cars. I like the deep/aggressive tone Bassani/Borla/Stillen produce. But i am very much into weight reduction, my trunk is pretty much gutted. And when i get a second car im going all out on this car

Anyway OP here is a pic of my bassani, now thats TIMID LOL. And yes i know my tires are on wrong

P.S Prepare to get flamed for not searching!!
I had 2 of the DMH cutouts replaced over a 2 year period myself. I think they function better if placed before the cats so that you skip the cat and muffler restriction. I don't like them dumped directly under the car though (we ran two straight pipes back on my set-up).

Yeah i took those pics the day i installed it. Soon after i added a mini exhaust tip to it so it wouldn't dump out like that.

I didn't add before the cats for three reasons..the first being the rasp associated with having open exhaust that close to the engine. The second being that i have heard that you can cause engine damage having open exhaust before the cats. Third being that i have a Stillen SC that actually needs exhaust backpressure to function properly due to the way the roots blower works. So if you open up the exhaust too much it will kill performance.

Look Timid? Why don't you weld a Geo Metro muffler on your Z. That 1/2" tailpipe would be the the ultimate of timid.
