I was told it would be more difficult to install cams with out taking the engine out.

Either way there are no way it has Nismo cams on a 06 Revup.

everything is probably easier with the engine out but not necessary

^^^ I don’t get it was that sarcasm? How is that post "the right direction" and how does it prove whether or not the guy sold you a car with after market cams installed?

He checked the specs and they don't make a version for his 06 model. So in effect, he doesn't have cams.

ah... I see.

I figured the fact that the seller had no invoice and no OEM cams out of the car would be enough... but it doesn’t hurt to have further "evidence".

No sarcasm. I've come to the conclusion, with the help of the guys on this thread, that I do not have Nismo cams installed in my car since Nismo doesn't make any cams for my motor. Good to know that the person who sold me the car is lying or was lied to and is just forwarding a lie to me. Thanks all.
