These look excellent. I'm pretty sure these WILL work with the stock ECU but not positive. In Alabama we don't have emissions inspection so anything like this always interests me. Has anyone asked for the price or is this PM only? The stock ECU would make the car run extremely rich if i'm not mistaken. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not yet.........just getting ready to load her up for VIR this weekend. I will probably tool around the buisness park here........but until we get her back on the track there is no saying.
I am still awaiting the other set that will be run on the dyno............XERD is pretty slammed with all the inquries and orders for their headers.

OK so I was able to get a small taste of it this afternoon before loading her n the transporter for VIR.
All I can say is what a difference.........no to be fair we are running a brand new ECU program form TechnoSquare also so.........
BUt I am def a lot happier.......it seems to pull very even from 4000 all the way to 7250. From what it felt like the last two races its def an improvement.
We dynoed while in Canada and torque is what we are working on.
They will go on the engine dyno tomorrow so I should here something soon.
Also we will be running DBA rotors this weekend and I ll let ya know about that also.

DBA rotors where a huge improvement over the stock rotors..........Floating 2 pc rotors are def the way to go for true race set up. I do suggest to anyone that is retaining the stock Brembo to go with the DBA's
We had much more useable mid range torque but felt we lost some top end power which in a racing application is always the way to go.........
torque wins races...horsepower sells cars!
Both Michiel and I felt the increase of mid range torque over the Nismo header setup we were running.

glad to hear good feedback about them, i'm waiting for my new pads and fluids before i put on any rotors.

i believe Nathan in australia is running DBA rotors too.

DwnShift, I too am in Cincinnati and have Borla headers that still need to be installed (see other mods in my sig.). Problem is nobody want to install them. I had very little problem with my Procharger so I think I could handle the install but I have no lift. Where would you suggest I go?

BJ, how much to do the header install, and would you guys install my HKS CAMP system to monito Boost (for my Procharger) and Oil Temp (Cant find the EGT for this application)? Also, how much? Thanks! One more thing, what does your shop's schedule look like? I am not available all that often.

dwnshift, can you post the hp gains from the headers, also why do you think tou lost hp on top end? overall do you think the headers from xerd are better than the borlas or nismo?

I do not have the numbers from the dyno....... things got a little delayed and was not able to get these on the dyno before our new engine was shipped back to us..... shoul be here this week.
I belive the loss of top end was probably due to the ECU map we ran........but in racing its time from point A to point B that we look at now how fast we are at the end of the straight. The gain in torque was far better than the loss of top end. We dropped our shift points down in 4th and 5th gears by 250 RPMS thats all.
We feel these XERD headers are a much better design for off road/ racing applications than the shorty Nismo headers.
We were very pleased with their performance.

BJ,

You are in Cincy and you have a shop! Nice to know. I now know where I will take my car for cams, header, and other installs that I cannot handle. Does the shop do forced induction systems also (thinking Greddy TT)? How about engine internals? Let me know if you have the chance. Also, I will likely come to you for the two-piece DBA rotors and the sways. I am back at Gingerman this weekend and I have concluded that I could use both (as well as more practice).

You can get them through Brake Pros (Stillen) or 350EVO
