Default Intake, Exhaust, Test Pipes Dyno

Just got the car dyno'd. I have the dyno in bmp file on a disk, but it's taking forever to load. I'll try to upload it again later.

Anyways, it was a cold day, about 65º.. did it in 5th gear. Mods are listed below, although my ECU is re-flashed to stock because the plenum will be arriving soon. The plenum WAS NOT on the car during the dyno. So only mods on the car while on dyno was Injen full cai, Borla true duel exhaust, and my custom test pipes.

Best dyno run was 254hp
Best dyno run for torque was 248tq

Wish I had a baseline, but I don't. I compare those numbers to AVERAGE HP/TQ which I've seen at about 240hp/235tq, so I'm hopinh it was a 14hp/13tq gain.

Any questions, please ask. Thanks

Damn not too shabby. You gained around 15HP with those 3 mods. I wonder what mod yielded the biggest hp.

To be honest, I felt the most pull from the test pipes. The dyno showed my hp below Russel's baseline up to 2,800rpms, but after that it cross over his, and kept going up.

If you translate those numbers to crank hp, you're looking at 300hp/295tq (based on 15% drivertrain loss).

I can't even get it up on my computer! It keeps reading the disk, and doesn't open it.

The test pipes tend to reduce hp in the low rpm range and increase it @ 3k and above. This alters the linear hp/torque curve and provides for more of a incremental g-force feeling during acceleration.

I believe this is what triggers the butt dyno response more than other mods.

Ricky

Take the dyno pic and change it from a bmp. to a jpeg. The file will be a lot smaller that way CJ

Are you sure it's not a data file from a Dynojet dyno?

If so you can download the viewer from there website and then take a screenshot.

DynoJet viewer link

Always handy if you dyno on a Dynojet and want to compare files on the same sheet.
