bought the nismo cat back today, i figure i might as well do the cats now too... im thinking test pipes , but how does the Zs computer react to them? also im not looking for it to be obnoxiously loud. im sure this has been asked a million times , but i suck at using search...sorry and thanks for any help

any recommendations? does size matter? i dont know the diameter of the nismo

 

absolutely do not get test pipes and seeing u have the nismo exhaust get the berk high flow cats which are pretty much designed to work with the nismo and have the extra support and are not raspy as hell like test pipes and obnoxiously loud all the time...it will still have a nice clean sound and be loud when ur on it but able to keep quiet also

 

HFC cost more so if thats an issue then just go with resonated testpipes. You shouldn't have rasp at all. My friend had nismo exhaust with nonresonated and even that didn't have rasp. Also depending on which year Z u have u may have to get nonfoulers to avoid any CEL/SES.

i was thinking about doing megan racing test pipes since they are resonated. from the feedback so far it seems like it will work out nice , thanks guys

Megan suck, had em on my VW, worst quality ever...i will never buy from them again...
