Question new exhaust system

alright well ive done alot of research and I think Im going to go with the Injen true dual exhaust, the kinetix high flow cats, and dc sport headers. I havent been able to find to many bad things about these parts, wondering if you guys could let me know if anything is bad with these parts from personal expierence?

I have the injen with TPs and I like it alot. The only downside to the injen exhaust is the drone aroud 1.8k rpm to 2.2k rpm.

DC headers are solid headers, I had them on my last car. What year is your car? I can't speak to the other items because I don't have direct experience with them but have come across numerous threads referencing them.

Injen exhaust after 50,304 miles. It just keeps going and going.

Unfortunately the Kinetix high-flow catalytic converter is a different story. Mine failed internally after 18,864 miles. Rattled like a SOB!

if ur not gonna boost the car id go with the berk high flow cats, they sound amazing and have great gains and are made very well...all brands of cats as far as i know the aftermarket ones at least use magnaflow cores for the inside catalyst which is what failed on mine, so im convinced any brand i had would have done the same thing...both sets i had the inside collapsed, the first set i had warrantied which berk has a 1 year warranty period and were very good about it, the 2nd time i said screw it and hollowed them out so i now have turned them into test pipes..

yea I am already boosted, stillen supercharger stage 3.. i mean im not really going for the power gains b/c all aftermarket parts are pretty much in the same ball park with power gains... im trying to go with a great sound, throaty and all that rice burner sound is what im trying to avoid

If you want a throaty sound and want to avoid the ricey whine, i would suggest the Borla True Dual, Bassanni True Dual, or the Injen SES (which has now been discontinued so your SOL.)

Also Berk HFC instead of Kinetics. Since your boosted, i would actually recommend test pipes. Even though i dont like Kinetics, they make a set of test pipes that have built in resonators to reduce sound. They still flow faster than HFC's but are not as loud as plain test pipes.

BTW: Im going through finding that throaty sound as well, i too want to avoid ricey whine at all costs. Bassanni sounds GREAT.

I've got the Bassani exhaust, and it sounds great. I do prefer a bit louder exhaust though, although it is nice and loud when the car is heated for a while under WOT. I heard Bassani with modified Berk HFC's on an HR 350z, and it sounded good, but not much louder or different really.

Has anyone had any good combinations/experiences with any other HFC's/resonated test pipes on the Bassani system? I know for a 95% fact that Bassani + non-resonated test pipes sounds raspy as hell.

I think you should search from my personal experience.Have a look at different products available in the market & you will probably get the best.

I have bassani exhaust with Longtube headers (used to be resonated TP) and it is in fact pretty LOUD! lol, sounds great, people would ask me all the time "wat exhaust u running" lol. The only drawback is the looks, it looks too dull for me.

Anyone want to trade their Injen for my Bassani
