Default cracked test pipe from nismo Y......

recently purchased and installed Titek test pipes and installed them to my nismo exhaust without researching deep enough into it....well, they have now cracked at the test pipe bracket, very small, and is a quick fix weld. i've tried searching(maybe i'm just blind) but i'd like to know which y pipe i should replace my nismo one with so that this doesn't happen again?

i'd like to keep the test pipes, so i'm either going to get a new y pipe or get rid of my nismo exhaust and get something different.

i'm sure you've heard this before, but i appreciate any input, or even a link to other threads regarding replacing y pipe.

thanks

well, almost all have flex pipes though. even my nismo has the flex pipes and they didn't help. or is Nismo the ONLY y pipe that has the problem with test pipes?

i would love the motordyne y pipe but can't spend $500 on it right now

This has happened to me with my Tanabe Y-Pipe... I've gone thru 2 sets of Berk Test Pipes, & 1 Set of HFC's. While the HFC's have lasted longer. So it's not only the Nismo Y-Pipe. I'm switching over to the JIC in a few weeks.

I've heard of this being a common issue with the Nismo exhaust.

ok, so i've decided to spend the money on a good Y pipe, and really aiming toward the XYZ pipe from motordyne. do you think this will eliminate my cracking problem that my Nismo Y pipe has been creating?
