Default exhaust problem question

I just put on my topspeed (intense power) y pipe and AAM 3" single back exhaust. I had to take out the rear lower brace to make it fit or it'll hit it. Is that a common issue? Is there a brace that replace the stock brace to make it stiff again?

the one that is connecting across the lower frame rails. kind of a wide u shape, black brace. right where the y pipe connects to the rear exhaust.

Lots of people remove that brace. I researched it and found that is common with aftermarket exhaust setups.

Default more problems

just started driving the car. the exhaust hangs about an 2 inches too low. everything fits alright except the brace being gone but my car is pretty low and now the exhaust is scraping on things i normally wouldn't need to worry about. probably get the exhaust rewelded and have it tucked higher.
this info i'm sharing is for anyone that needs some info on parts. btw, exhaust does sound nice.

You can put a piece of rubber between the pipe and the brace. My friend did that with his TurboXS pipes and there hasn't been a problem since.

Just get a Motordyne Y pipe and call it good. No clearance problems, it actually clears by about 2 inches.
