Question I need help with these jwt pop chargers

alright i dont have much time to look into parts really so i hit up the internet for pretty much anything i need. i was on ebay looking at the jwt pop chargers and i found a few of them... some them come with tubes and some dont, i just wanted to know that the tubes they send are they different than the stock?? or a pop charger is only suppose to change the filter not the tube. these are the ones i found on ebay, srry if there is previous threads on this i just dont want to buy the WRONG S!@T!!!!!!!

Since you own a Z, you don't need the Z tube, you've already got one. If you'll notice, the ones with the Z tube say Infiniti G35 coupe...That's because the Z tube is less restrictive than the one on the Z.

thats awesome, but i had another question... on the importspartspro site they sell the Z aluminum tube also.
is it better to get an aluminum tube and hook it up to ur stock air box, or get a pop charger and just replace the filter, or replace all the **** together get the aluminum tube and the jwt pop charger?????

Some tests seem to show that nothing beats the stock airbox with a drop in K & N filter.
Pop Chargers overall are more for looks and sound. But I still have one, lol As far as the aluminum tube, some seem to think it adds to heatsoak. Again, it's a nice look and probably doesn't affect HP by more than 1 or 2 anyway. Don't believe manufacturers claims, BTW, in the real world they almost never stand up.

And most show the pop charger shows nice gains. Minor heat soak problems (not really heat soak) at low speeds (parked).

Now the aluminum tube will cause extra heatsoak(real) do to the fact it will absorb more heat and stay heated longer over the plastic intake pipe. C/F would be the way to go if your trying to get every available hp IMO

I still have my popcharger and love it. Wouldnt trade it for anything else and have never had ANY issues with it. It sounds great by itself and once i put on my true dual cat back exhaust....well lets just say the whole car sounds VERY good.
