Default Rasp help

I am currently running

HKS Hi-power exhaust
invidia test pipes (cat delete)

there is a slight rasp and metal vibration sound when i accelerate and hit around
4.5k-5k rpms and also when i decelerate.

possible solutions
1.would aftermarket headers help?
2.change to a different test pipe?
3.change y-pipe?

any help would be appreciated!
thanks in advance

Yep, put back the stock cats or hack that system up with a resonator or x-pipe.

Adding resonators would be the solution to allow you to keep your current system. Other than that installing high flow cats or your OEM cats in place of the test pipes is the only real option.

it would be somewhere in the middle between stock cats and test pipes. berks is a good brand for hfc's as well as crawford.

Sorry guys but I don't think rasp is bad as long as you have a lower tone along with it.

i always wondered about the metal sound when i decelerate too...it may just be a slight exhaust leak...i never found mine but it doesn't bother me

hey man, i had your same set up as far as test pipes and HKS exhaust go and one of the test pipes cracked...i would just keep an eye out...the shop said it was because they had no brackets and it puts strain on the test pipe....back to my stock cats i guess..
