no worries man....this is just the first time i have ever heard anything negative about k&n filters. i would like to see the reference to your info on the k&n's abililty to filter...not that i don't believe you...just that i have never heard anything before that all.

i've used k&n for all my cars, dirt bikes and motorcycles and never had an issue and was always happy with performance as well as filtering of incoming air
