i always thought that bracket was good to have too, but that is where the high flow cats cracked on me, right where that bracket is welded to the cat...As far as the bracket even being needed with test pipes its not because of how light they are and gives one less place to crack imo...my Berk test pipes have been perfectly fine for about 7k miles now

u might want to look into a resonated test pipe though if u were gonna do the test pipes because u have the aam y pipe which is just straight pipe so it would probably be real loud and a little raspy but idk.., i have the motordyne xyz w/resonator which takes away any rasp i would probably have with just a normal y pipe and mellows things out a little..not sure which resonated test pipes come with defoulers i havent really looked into them and they may have the bracket too cause they are probably heavier than a normal test pipe..

yea ive been looking around and i dont think anyone makes resonated test pipes w/ support brackets. I guess im gunna just look at getting the berk HFC. It should be pretty loud w/ the AAM y pipe n agnecy exhaust? The only problem is the AAM y pipe is 2.5 inch piping connecting from the cat and the berk piping is 2.36 inches. would i have any problems there?
