That improvement sounds about right, remember a long tube header takes the place of a test pipe and header set up. If I remember correctly the Stillen HFC and header combo gets a similar improvement. However if it is really just $500-$600 it a cost saving of a substantial amount.

 

LTH>header/hfc,tp combo. I don't have experience with the part mentioned above but Fast Intentions is coming out with their LTH and they are stating significant gains over the generic header/hfc or tp combo. If you think about it, it's more efficient to go with one piece rather than having different diameters for the exhaust gas to pass through. F.I. has a 2.5" collector with a 2.5" exit, I can't wait till my set arrives.

 

 

Yep. Without a re-tune. Dyno and pic attached. I've got a few friends that got close to 315whp on mustang dyno with a tune.
