cliffs:
they're not the same. nismo is much better quality/welding.
but they both are flawed.
megan sucks (cheap craftsmasship) & the nismo y-pipe is known for breaking testpipes/and after market high flow cats.

how do you know if swapping Y's will help elim. the drone?.... you may be dissapointed. see what other people with the same exhaust are using and how it sounds/their opinions.

Your best option would be the Motordyne XYZ with resonator.

Has any one welded in hfcs to a y pipe? I have magnaflow weld in hfcs and was going to cut my test pipes and weld them in, but i also have an extra nismo y pipe laying around was going to cut the flex piece out and try welding them in there or see if i can sandwich them in after the flex, so that i can swap back if i don't like the way it sounds or if power sinks any input would be appreciated Thanks
