I have an 08 with aam testpipes and hks hi power. Love it. Have the infamous ses light also. Due to be gone soon after it is tuned.

 

I just ordered the ART pipes and Osiris standard version. I will get the Z dyno-tuned and post the dyno sheet here.

i appologize if this question has been already answered, but...

i have bought a set of Invidia test pipes for my 07 nismo, and i have heard that the engine light will eventually come on... what kinda of solution is there to avoid this? i am unsure as to what to do when i get them installed or what to ask them to do.. if anyone could help me out with this that would be much appreciated, thanks.

 

More then likely have to have it tuned to turn the light off. U can drive it around with light on just be running really rich.

 

get an uprev tune done . . .during the tune tell teh tuner to turn off the catalytic converter code (which throws the light)

 

Anyone favoring a certain HFC or test pipes with the borla exhaust?

Im about to go with Berk HFC, but im not sure if the sound difference will be worth the money or if i should just go with test pipes.

 

i see alot of you guys prefer the ART pipes...is it really that good? is it really worth the $500...i have greddy true dual ti-c...will it go well with it? or what res. test pipes would you guys recomend no hfc nor just test pipes...thanks for your help

 

I would recommend going with art pipes over tps and HFCs. Best sound/hp gains you can get for the money! All I need now is a tune. Go with art pipes, you won't be dissapointed

This thread has so many mixed reviews on TPs/HFCs. It seems like every person has had different experiences with them. I'm so confused as to what to do, but it seems that a tune solves all issues with CELs and Bogging/Lagging?

 

do you need Cobb AP for the tune? and also, is this only happen with test pipe only or with HFC also?

 

i am running kinetix hfc and invidia gemini cat back, i get compliments on the sound from some of my friends with DE's. i went with the kinetix due to lifetime warranty, which i will be utilizing due to the passenger one rattling (assuming its breaking up inside) and throwing service engine light

 

Took a while but finally had the Z dyno'ed.

Made 287 hp and 241 tq untuned (Dynojet). Had issue with Osiris software so we have to dyno tune it again at another time.

 

Have you had a chance to go back to the dyno shop and get it tuned kuhan? So right now you have the ART pipes, HKS true dual and intakes on the car right? Is Osiris the only tune you can have done that can disable the converter light or can any tuning software do that?

 

10 months now on my Kinetix HFCs. No CEL in all of that time.

 

There are two that i know of; Uprev Osiris and Cobb Tuning. Yes, I have ART pipes, HKS dual exhaust, and Stillen G3 intakes.

If you're going for intakes, get Injen instead since many people claimed to have more hp/tq gain than Stillen G3's.

Im hoping to have the z tuned next friday.

 

found out yesterday ive been bottoming out my art pipe v3's ._.

at any rate, i need some opinions fellas. ive had the cobb tune (just preloaded maps) for a while now but have yet to justify the money for an uprev / real time dyno tune.

i set it at stage 2+ and it's still at the 13 afr @ WOT.

mods: injen long tubes, art pipe v3's, invidia gemini.

given, i downloaded the tuner software and all but I do not feel competent to do some touch ups myself.

 

Kuhan, you should record your dyno pull. I would love to hear what the ART & HKS sound like together!
