We just got the next batch in... Here are some pictures (unfortunately we still don't have any installed shots):

here ya go kevan. sound clips should be got this weekend. fwiw, it is amazing. not raspy, little to no drone(i have test pipes even), very light, amazing sound, not crazy loud, great quality, i am very pleased. heres the pics--don't mind the half-assed bumper tuck, i was in a hurry and will do it proper tommorow.

Thank you sir!!! It doesn't look super great IMO, compared to some other singles. But I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. BTW Ben do you know how much it weighs?

i agree on the looks, the tip could actually stand to be a tad bigger imo and it could stick out a bit more. the shipping weight was 40lbs. so prolly about 35lbs for the exhaust.

That doesn't sound right, don't the stock midpipe and muffler together weigh around 45 lbs? I thought it would've been lighter than that. And I feel like if you could pull it up a little higher, closer to the bumper, it would look better.
It does go pretty straight back though, which is good. Which y-pipe are you using with it? And are you planning to dyno it?

i have a stillen y pipe, aps test pipes. i will be dynoing, but after my custom SFR headers and y pipe are installed. i wouldn't imagine it making any more/less power than any other single pipe 3" exhaust.

as for the weight, i think the just the stock muffler weighs like 60lbs, with the piping/resonator weighing another 20 or so--stock stuff is super heavy. this is not even close as far as weight is concerned.

OK cool man, thanks for the info. Let me know when you get those sound clips. I bet it feels good to have an exhaust nobody else has yet!

Bimmertech: is there any way to adjust the hanger so the exhaust sits higher ? Also, any idea how it would look without the bumper tuck (meaning would the exhaust interfere with the regular bumper if it wasn't tucked?

I'd greatly appreciate it.

thanks

I agree that it would look better if it sat higher, closer to the bumper.

No exhaust should interfere with an untucked bumper, but single exhausts definitely look worse with an untucked bumper, in my opinion.

Oh, well in that case I think you should sell the diffuser if you want a single exhaust. I'm sure you could find a way to fit the RM01A with the diffuser but it won't look as good as a bumper tuck IMO.

So i finally installed it. This exhaust sounds pretty good, but its definitely quieter than other singles, but its still loud enough to hear it from all rpm's but not loud to the point you can't have a conversation. It also does drone at highway speed, but it isn't annoying, or headache inducing. Good note, is that it doesn't have rasp, and it does keep the VQ sound.

I installed it with a motordyne xyz w/ straight pipe.
