So what's the difference between the flat ended Helmholtz and the rounded end?
Have you noticed, or is there any change in exhaust note between tips?

The hemispherical end cap has slightly less tendency for rasp.
And the tips make no difference at all.

any sound clips of TDX w/headers? Must have been insanely loud.. Did you have any resonator to quell the rasp?

Not sure if there would be rasp, however, you can now get mid pipe resonators for the TDX2

That sweet sweet sound

I'm hoping my recordings will sound very similar, only without the headers, i don't think it cost as much as that equipment did, but it's still going to be stereo
