The Shockwave))) True Dual X (TDX)
Yes the tdx2 comes with the xyz pipe, yes if you buy a second hand tdx2 without one, you will need to buy the plain xyz , no module required.

I've read multiple threads on some members having either the V2 or TDX2 setups. Could any of the current forum members with the exhaust, whether it's the full setup or just the exhaust, give a long-term update? Just looking to see what your thoughts are on it compared to how much you guys loved it in the beginning (hoping it's the same). Any issues/problems at all? Just looking for quality/reliability issues.
This is directed to members like onagao, deteria and Z Fo Sho (clearance issues) from the threads I read. Hydrazine, have any of your customers had issues at all?
I absolutely love the sound, but I just want some reassurance once I make the move to get this. I just want to make up my mind between this and the NISMO S-Tune exhaust. I figure for a couple more hundred dollars, why not?
Thanks for any feedback.

I'll second that, but i've only had it for around 700-800 miles.
Quality, up there with the best there is.
Sound, better than the recordings suggest.
You now have the option for HFC mid sections as well, which i'm running, very nice, and only about 1-2HP loss as they're HF and spread over two, 3 inch pipes. Best part, system still burbles on the over run
Clearance? i actually adjusted my passenger mid pipe too high, need to adjust it down so that the one in ten times i drive over a level crossing (train tracks) i don't get the slight knock on the diff ear.
You've got what you need with some of the best adjustment you can get. Just take your time when fitting the system in order to get the fitment you want. There is a lot more adjustment available in the system than most people think.

1 year on mine and I haven't had any issues at all. I love the exhaust and if I ever move to the 370, I will purchase it again.
PS - I can't drive my car anywhere without someone complimenting me on it. I have BMW owners telling me my car is awesome when they are sitting in M3s and X5 Ms. It's just silly.

I appreciate the feedback guys. I gotta say it's what I hoped to hear. Keep them coming, whether good or bad for future members as well.
I think I see Motordyne in my near future.

are there any vendors that sell this exhaust on these forums? I only saw one, and it seemed kinda old
and is $1600 around the going price for this? Sorry, been out of the loop for a while

thats a great recording. probably the best i've heard. Very crisp and clear. Did you use a digital device?
Thanks
It's a stereo mic plugged into a camera, however, my recordings with the mic and another device can be better sometimes.
The problem with a lot of cameras, is that they have an auto sound adjuster on them. The idea is that very quiet sounds are amplified slightly, and very loud sounds are lowered slightly.
I will say though, that this record is pretty accurate for sound levels.
