I tell ya, this exhaust really quiets down once it settle's in. It's great at high RPM's, but stays pretty quiet...I love it. Now to get some ART pipes.

Tony, how much for just the V2 side branches w/o shipping? Plz pm me, thanks.

Btw, for those that switched from stock to this, how much louder was it at cold start-up, particularly in a garage?

I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood and i really don't want to **** my neighbors off every time i start the car at 6 AM

after about 3 weeks driving every day it's pretty mellow with the stock cats. It's got a beautiful VQ noise at great levels. It only gets really loud when I'm really on it. Don't worry about it.

My V1 sounds diff. Deep loud til around 4500 then it quietens down. Well at least inside the car. Thinking about maybe some long tubes to bring the volume up. idk though

You must have a cam tune.

A proper tune makes the engine sound quieter at high RPM.

I have ART pipes and I had to swap back to my stock cats this week because of emissions. Compared to the ART pipes, this exhaust with the cats is quiet. Like you said, it's very VQish and sounds great. Throw the ART pipes on and your friends know you are coming from a mile away.

A cam tune reduces the overlap at high RPM. This provides the best dyno results, but at the same time, the car gets noticeably quieter at high RPM after the tune.

Hydra - Thanks for the pricing on the v2 upgrade. Very reasonable imo...
Let me see how I like the v1 sound for a minute... Pretty Incredible.

This is a question for those with HR and have gotten an UpRev tune with their full ART pipe + Shockwave combo bolt-ons:

How much more power (delta) can i expect to gain? Trying to justify spending $$ on a tune

dont wonder if the tune is worth it bc i can assure you if you have completed your bolt ons its a MUST. My car went from in my eyes fast untuned then after lot faster. And of course picking up a peak of 10-15hp is always good esp for the price.

I'm considered pretty much full bolt-ons already right since i heard headers don't do much for HR platform... (im NA)

I have:
Injen dual intake
MD ART pipes
MD Shockwave dual

... Not sure what other bolt-ons i can add besides headers. Looks like i have every bolt-on available from MD for my HR already

Btw Hydra, what's the difference between the original shockwave vs the TDX in terms of performance? Sound-wise, i dont think there's much difference from watching youtube videos.
