Default The Shockwave))) True Dual X (TDX)

The latest exhaust system R&D at Motordyne has produced theShockwave V2 True Dual X exhaust system TDX (tm).

The TDX is a True Dual exhaust with a "X" pipe configuration. Hence the acronym TDX. Designed for maximum power gains by using a combination of dual 2.5" and dual 3.0" stainless steel tubing. The progressive expansion of exhaust flow area allows optimum scavenging with minimum flow resistance.

The first ~1/3 portion of the TDX exhaust system consists of dual 2.5" tubing. Using 2.5" tubing at the front section of the exhaust keeps the torque gains high. The last ~2/3'rds of the exhaust system is made of dual 3" tubing. This provides wide open flow in an area where there is no more scavenging to be had and thus provides maximum power at high RPM.

The new merge collector design of the XYZ pipe merges the exhaust gasses at a slightly lower internal volume and a slightly shallower merge angle to intensify scavenging.

Sidebranch Helmholtz resonators for notching our drone.

Quality Titanium exhaust tips that will never rust. Available in straight or rolled lip with or without blue burn. Just let us know which you prefer.

And if you really want to kick in the power, hook up your TDX to a pair of ART pipes (sold separately).

Hi Tony

Free shipping - Please send me a price on the V2 without the XYZ. I just added that with the resonator and Berk HFC's but the stock exhaust doesn't do it justice.

Maybe I'll get lucky and you'll send me a MD logo instead of the collection of pens that I now have.

Thanks

...and I know its been said dozen's of times but the quality of the MD parts all the way down to the hardware, gaskets and packaging is the best.

To make it a TDX you will need the midpipe section outlined.
To get rid of the drone you will need the axleback section with sidebranch resonators.

We can certainly do that.

Special note: For a limited time when you order the Shockwave))) V1 TDX shown below, you have the option for a free upgrade with sidebranch resonators.
x

During the Shockwave))) TDX promotional get your V1 with a free upgrade of drone eliminating sidebranch resonators. The Titanium tips of course can the style you choose. Straight or rolled lip. Blue burned or plain finished Titanium.
Both straight and rolled lip tips are shown below for comparison.

Great work Tony!

Any plans on delving into the 370Z world? I'd love to be able to recommend your exhaust systems to my 370Z customers

Yes, for the V1, this style is available as part of a free upgrade. Supplies are limited.

Alright, I've got ART pipes on the way (Will I be the first second-hand owner...?) and I'm already thinking ahead to budget in this beautiful exhaust but I have one question.

If the 370 is "next on the list," when are we going to see some Motordyne Headers?

Hmm? HMMM? HMMMMMMMMM?!?!

::kicks dirt:: I mean, I'm just sayin'... one segment away from a full M.D. exhaust...

Default V1 free upgrade

Tony,

Is there any difference in performance &/or drone cancellation between the upgraded V1 axlebacks & the V2 axlebacks?

No difference. They are exactly the same.
