No.
The power would be good, but I would expect a loss of TQ.

Hey Tony

I'm finally ready to make my purchase on one of these but with all the variations of different sections and combos; i'm slightly confused on which to get that best suits my needs. What's the main difference between the TDX2 Shockwaves to the V1 Shockwaves aside from the helmholtz resonators? And I saw pics of this exhaust system on one of the sites that was distibuting your products but wasn't sure which version it was....

http://www.b2autodesigns.com/popup_image.php?pID=2425

What would you recommend me getting for an NA 350Z DE, also are you still offering the free upgrade to the axleback resonators if I ordered the V1 TDX shockwave? hahha thankss

Wow....all Motordyne stuff is sold cheaper at b2autodesigns than Motordyne directly. Am I seeing this correctly?

The prices shown on MD's site are retail. MD dealers are allowed to advertise products a set percentage below retail.

The picture in the link above shows the older version Shockwave. The baseline system is now TDX Shockwave with the option of V1 or V2.

The V2 has the addition of the sidebranch helmholtz resonators. These resonators notch out drone.

I personally like the V2 the most of all the various configurations and sounds. Quiet while cruising. Very loud when you slam it. And it never drones.

Thanks for clarifying things up , TDX V2 it is!

I don't mind paying retail if I get to deal with Tony directly since I'm in Canada and it's a bit more of a hassle to get parts to me, but I know I'll be well taken care of with Motordyne's superb customer service. I just don't want to wait!! lol There's currently a 2-4 week back order at b2autodesigns for the TDX2s
