I did a lot of thinking about an intake for my 07 HR Z and decided to stick with the stock air boxes with drop in K&N panel filters. But i read somewhere that the corrugated(bumpy) rubber tube on the stock intake should be replaced with a non metallic post MAF hose. Sooo i wanted to get some opinion if this thing is helpful for the intake or harmful or just looks . . .

idk specific names but i know a few guys run cobb hose and LOVE it. I was thinking about changing out my OE sh1tty hose also

ok . . . i did some checking around and apparently no one (even Cobb) has the black ones (part# 7A2010BK) in stock . . . the blue ones are in stock (7A2010BL). I asked drivelinemotoring (sponsor here) , he said he has them (black) and he quoted me 135 shipped. I went to his website (drivelinestore.com) and saw it for 125 (free shipping). So i ended up ordering mine from there

but imho you guys should get an intake . . . but with the HR, the stock air boxes are the best

 

I think terras knows we have one avail. Hes just stating he wants 1. intakes are a waste for almost every car
